Thursday 14th. May 2009 -

Spartans FC are very fortunate to have the services of physiotherapist Ali Black who has been fantastic around the dressing room, making sure the ladies are in tip top condition enabling  them to play at the top level in the Women's Premier League. Ali also supervises warm up and stretching routines for the players before matches.
 
Ali has been around football for some time having previously been at Kelso Utd. and Dunbar Utd. as Physio and Fitness Speed Coach and at Eymouth Utd. as Physio and Assistant Manager. Ali joined Spartans in October 2008 where as well as helping out the ladies he also attends to the men's teams.

April 2009 - Scotland u19 Coach Anna Signeul has announced her squad who will take on Northern Ireland next Tuesday 12 May at Forthbank Stadium, Stirling, kick-off 6.15pm. Monday 27th. May 2009 - Spartans striker Diana Barry has been short-listed for the Scottish Women’s Football Player of the Year Award - the top award in a list of eight categories planned for the Scottish Women’s Football Awards Dinner at Hampden on Friday 12th June.
