Spartans are building a new home at Ainslie Park, situated 500 yards from their current ground at City Park. The new facilities include a 500-seater stand and floodlights surrounding the main stadium pitch and an adjacent, full size artificial pitch, also with floodlights. We hope the new Spartans Community Football Academy will be ready by the summer of 2008.

Spartans FC and Edinburgh Ladies FC - 12th February

We are delighted to announce that Edinburgh Ladies FC will become part of Spartans FC from the next season. They play in the SWPL and are currently 3rd, having finished 3rd last season.

Edinburgh Ladies currently play at St Mark's Park - they will play their home fixtures at the new Academy - either on the synthetic pitch or in the stadium.

This is a big step forward for the club, in particular it should be a real fillip for our girls section. Members of the ladies team are committed to helping with coaching and development of the girls.
